Menstruation is not a choice, it’s a cycle of the release of normal vaginal blood which occurs every month among women from the approximate ages of 13 to 50. The fact that feminine hygiene products aren’t free is vile. 64% of women can not afford them due to the high unreasonable taxes enforced on the products. This is known as period poverty, something people believe that is an absurd term. Over 800 million women can’t afford menstrual products every month. These products are part of basic necessities and should be provided free of cost to all women. Women not having these products provided to them can lead to multiple physical health problems ranging from pregnancy complications to urinary tract infections.
